M.O.A.B. on the Dyno

Check out the Magnuson M.O.A.B. being put through its paces on our LS-powered "ClusterTruck". See firsthand how this classic 6-71 style blower—with modern TVS internals—puts down some serious power with immediate throttle response, smooth power delivery, and impressive drivability.

Inside M.O.A.B. — The TVS3100

M.O.A.B.’s 3.1 Liter TVS3100 rotors deliver modern efficiency within a proven 6-71 blower form factor. Compared to traditional straight-lobe Roots blowers, the high-twist design significantly reduces heat, enhances airflow, and improves low-end response. The result: smoother drivability, cooler charge temps, and massive power potential from idle to redline.

Classic 6-71 Looks. Modern TVS3100 Performance.

The Magnuson M.O.A.B. TVS3100 LS3/LSA Hot Rod Supercharger Kit brings the iconic look of a 6-71 blower to LS-powered builds with modern TVS performance. Pairing our 3.1L TVS3100 M.O.A.B. with an intercooled manifold for LS3-style rectangular-port heads, integrated fuel rails, and standard 6-71/8-71 blower compatibility, this system delivers instant boost, smooth drivability, and maximum flexibility for custom hot rod, restomod, and race applications.

Features and Specifications

Key Features

  • Magnuson M.O.A.B. TVS3100 supercharger delivers immediate boost response with modern high-helix, four-lobe rotor technology
  • Designed for LS3-style rectangular-port cylinder heads in custom hot rod, restomod, race, and engine-swap applications
  • Integrated liquid-to-air charge-air cooler provides efficient heat rejection with large 1-inch (-16 ORB) coolant ports
  • Standard 6-71/8-71 architecture supports widely available carburetor, EFI, injector-hat, inlet, and cog-drive components
  • Integrated high-flow fuel rails provide a clean foundation for custom fuel-system configurations; injectors and crossover are not included
  • Built-in vacuum bypass valve reduces parasitic load during idle and light-throttle operation for smooth street drivability
  • 6.90-inch drive cartridge is configured for custom cog-drive installations using an industry-standard six-bolt pulley hub and allows for Corvette accessory spacing
  • Self-contained supercharger oiling requires no external oil lines or routine oil service

Fitment

  • Fits GM LS engines with LS3-style rectangular-port cylinder heads.
  • Requires a custom cog-drive system. The drive cartridge accepts a minimum 41-tooth thin-wall supercharger pulley
  • The 6.90" drive cartridge allows for COG drive outboard of a C6 Vette accessory beltline.
  • Significant hood clearance is required. Most installations will require a hood opening or exposed-supercharger configuration.

Supercharger and crank pulleys, belts, cog-drive components, carburetor or EFI components, throttle body, injectors, intercooler plumbing, and calibration are not included. Magnuson’s Universal Cooling System is available separately.

FAQs

What LS engines does the MOAB TVS3100 LS3/LSA Hot Rod Supercharger Kit fit?
The system is designed for GM LS engines with LS3-style rectangular-port cylinder heads, including LS3- and LSA-style applications. It is intended for custom hot rod, restomod, race, and engine-swap builds.
Does the LS MOAB work with standard 6-71 and 8-71 components?
Yes. The manifold uses the standard 6-71/8-71 blower mounting pattern, while the M.O.A.B. retains standard inlet and cog-drive compatibility. This allows builders to use widely available carburetor, EFI, injector-hat, inlet, and drive components.
What is included with the MOAB LS3/LSA supercharger kit?
The kit includes the 6.90-inch Magnuson MOAB TVS3100 supercharger and an LS3-style intercooled manifold with an integrated liquid-to-air charge-air cooler and fuel rails. Injectors, fuel crossover, pulleys, belts, cog-drive components, induction components, and the external cooling system are not included.
What cog-drive setup is required for the LS MOAB?
The 6.90-inch MOAB drive cartridge requires a custom cog-drive system and accepts a minimum 41-tooth thin-wall supercharger pulley. Final pulley sizing, drive ratio, belt alignment, and crank-drive configuration depend on the engine and vehicle installation.
