Product description

The Magnuson Magnum TVS2650 ‘Hot Rod’ Kit brings the efficiency and performance of our popular Mustang Supercharger System to your next Coyote or Voodoo engine swap project. The Magnum TVS2650 Supercharger System is engineered specifically for Ford 5.0L Coyote and 5.2L Voodoo engines with Mustang/F150 accessory drives.

Designed with both engine swaps and high-horsepower builds in mind, this kit delivers exceptional performance. On a stock 2024 Mustang GT, it produces an additional 330 horsepower and 195 ft-lbs of torque at the crank using 93 octane with no other modifications required. With appropriate engine upgrades, the Magnum TVS2650 Hot Rod Kit is capable of supporting up to 1200+ horsepower, making it the perfect foundation for extreme builds.

The system’s large liquid-to-air intercoolers keep intake air temperatures (IATs) in check, ensuring consistent and repeatable performance. When paired with one of Magnuson’s universal cooling systems (sold separately), IATs typically remain just 20-40 degrees (Fahrenheit) above ambient temperatures. This design maximizes efficiency and protects against heat soak, so you can push your build to the limit without sacrificing reliability.

Our vacuum-operated bypass valve allows air to bypass the supercharger, enabling the rotors to “free-spin” under light engine loads. In this mode, the supercharger consumes less than a third of a horsepower, allowing your build to maintain stock-like drivability and fuel economy. It’s a power package without compromise—raw performance when you need it and refinement when you don’t.

Order yours today and unleash the power of a Magnuson Supercharger on your Coyote or Voodoo engine swap project!

*Pulley sold separately. See fitment tab for available pulley options.

Features and Specifications

  • Available in dual inlet and single inlet configurations.
  • Dual inlet configuration is compatible with 2024+ Ford Mustang 80mm throttle bodies. (See fitment tab for single inlet throttle body fitment)
  • Optimized inlet porting using Magnuson’s patented dynamic flow technology (DFT)
  • Eaton TVS2650 high-helix rotor technology provides optimum efficiency across the entire rpm band
  • Unrestricted discharge port opens to large plenum for maximum flow & distribution across the intercooler
  • Hard black anodized billet fuel rails provide maximum flow with minimum restriction, while also ensuring correct injector orientation every time
  • Dual water-to-air intercoolers for ultra-efficient post-supercharger air cooling
  • Bolt-on pulleys allow for quick and easy changes to control boost across multiple applications
  • CNC-machined ports for optimized airflow into engine cylinders.
  • Vacuum bypass system with instantaneous boost response designed to unload supercharger at engine idle and part-throttle for improved fuel economy. Bypass air is recirculated through the supercharger for rapid cooldown and ultimate performance.
  • Proven maintenance-free supercharger technology. No added complexity of external supercharger oil cooler/heaters for extreme climates.

Fitment

  • 5.0L Ford Coyote Engines
  • 5.2L Ford Voodoo Engines
  • Fits all Coyote Mustang Engines from 2011–2024
  • Fits all F150 Engines from 2011–2020. (Will not fit on 2021+ without inlet spacer)
  • Fits all 5.2L GT350 (flat-plane crank) and (non-flat-plane crank) 2020+ GT500 and Raptor R engines
  • 05-26-50-011-BL (Single Inlet) fits 57-05-08-XXX-BL series 8-rib pulleys
  • 05-26-50-012-BL (Dual Inlet) fits 57-03-06-XXX-BL series 6-rib pulleys

*For single inlet (05-26-50-011-BL), OE and aftermarket throttle body options are available for the following bolt patterns (see diagram). The throttle body needs to be selected by the end customer depending on their application and control system. We also offer an air inlet adapter plate to fit 2011+ Mustang and F150 throttle bodies as well as 2021+ 87mm F150 throttle bodies, sold separately.

FAQs

Which engines does the Magnum TVS2650 Hot Rod kit support?
This Magnum TVS2650 Hot Rod kit is designed for Ford 5.0L Coyote and 5.2L Voodoo V8 engines. It’s built for custom builds where you want modern TVS airflow and a clean manifold package.
Can I run this hot rod kit with a single throttle body or dual throttle bodies?
Yes, you can choose a single throttle body inlet or a dual throttle body inlet configuration to match your intake and packaging plan. That flexibility is ideal for swaps where space and throttle-body choices vary.
How does the bypass system affect street drivability on a hot rod build?
The vacuum-operated bypass is designed to unload the supercharger at idle and part throttle, which keeps drivability smooth and helps fuel economy during cruise. When you roll into the throttle, it closes for immediate boost response.
What do you recommend for intercooler plumbing and cooling on swaps?
Cooling is critical on swap builds, which is why we offer robust intercooling solutions designed around repeatable performance. A universal supercharger cooling system is available to help package the pump, heat exchanger, reservoir, and low-temperature radiator components in a wide range of vehicles.
Is there a CARB EO for this hot rod head-unit kit?
Because this is a hot-rod/engine-swap oriented system rather than a single vehicle-specific package, CARB EO coverage is unspecified. If emissions compliance is required, confirm the regulatory path that applies to your specific vehicle and build.
